1. Controller and scope
Aethernova IA, S.L.U., tax ID B22531354, registered office at Av. Porto da Coruña, 3, 15003 A Coruña, Spain. Registered in the Commercial Registry of A Coruña, sheet C-66575, entry 1.
Contact: info@xether.ai.
This policy covers browsing xether.ai, enquiries you send us by email and the data you provide for its waiting list. The future subscribed XETHER service will have specific information about the processing of professional information.
2. Data and purposes
To answer an enquiry, we process your email address, the message content and any details you choose to include, such as your name or organisation. The legal basis is taking pre-contractual steps at your request or our legitimate interest in answering professional communications, depending on the enquiry.
For the waitlist, we process your email address, profession, team size, consent (accepted text version and acceptance date), originating website and page, and registration date. Email, profession, team size and consent are required to register. We use your profession and team size to organise invitations by profession and team size. The legal basis is your consent to manage and confirm your signup and notify you only when XETHER opens. We will not send news updates or other marketing communications. Joining does not mean subscribing.
The hosting infrastructure may generate technical logs, including your IP address and browser details, to operate the website and prevent abuse. The basis is our legitimate interest in maintaining security and availability. We do not incorporate browsing analytics or personalised advertising.
Do not include sensitive client data in enquiries. Contacting us does not automatically add you to the waiting list.
3. Providers and recipients
Vercel hosts xether.ai; IONOS manages the domain and contact email. The contact link opens your email application: this website does not collect or submit a contact form. The waitlist is sent to Aethernova’s API at aethernova.ai: both websites use the same list and administration panel. Data may also be disclosed to authorities when required by law.
For the waiting list, we use Neon as the database, Resend for confirmation emails, Vercel to run the API and Upstash to limit requests and prevent abuse. We do not send form contents to analytics services. You can find information about the shared list in Aethernova’s privacy policy. That policy does not replace information about xether.ai’s own hosting and contact form.
4. Retention
We retain enquiries for 12 months from our last communication, unless a contractual relationship or legal obligation justifies another period. The waitlist is kept for a maximum of 12 months from signup. We delete your record earlier if we invite you to XETHER or you withdraw.
Technical logs follow the provider’s limited periods for security and diagnostics. Runtime logs for the shared API accessible to Aethernova in Vercel currently have a one-hour retention window under the configured plan. This does not describe the retention of other internal provider logs or database backups. Where necessary, data required to meet legal obligations or handle claims will be retained.
5. International transfers
Resend stores email data in the United States. Vercel, IONOS, Neon and Upstash may also involve providers or access from outside the European Economic Area. A European hosting region does not itself exclude that access. International transfers must have the applicable safeguards, including Standard Contractual Clauses where appropriate. You can request information about providers, locations and safeguards at info@xether.ai.
6. Your rights
You can request access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability, where applicable, or withdraw your consent by writing to info@xether.ai. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of earlier processing. We may request reasonable information to verify your identity.
You can also lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency. AEPD.
7. Professional information in the product
For launch, the commitment is to process your professional information under European jurisdiction, without transfers outside the EU, without sending it to the companies that developed the AI models and without using it to train them. These conditions must be verified in the deployment and contracts before access opens.
This commitment applies to professional information processed by the XETHER application. Contact and waiting list data have the purposes and providers described in this policy.
